CBS, formerly known as Columbia Broadcasting System is an American commercial broadcast television network. It was originally a radio network founded on September 18, 1927. During the 1930s, CBS experimented with television broadcasting. On June 24, 1941, CBS station WCBW became the second authorized fully commercial television station in the United States.

In 1994, CBS released a series of five-second bumpers featuring Felix the Cat that played in-between commercial breaks.

In the United States, the network broadcast The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat for two seasons from 1995 to 1997.
